Use Korg nanoPAD as a mouse-replacement
I already noticed on a few journeys that Korg’s nano-series does a very decent job and gives a lot of bang for your buck. I don’t have a plastique-fetish, however these things are pretty tight and a nice addition to everyone’s existing setup although they don’t add to your credibility as a DJ in Germany.

I like plastique, it's ultra-chique, so fantastique, i like...
good stuffSomeone on DJTechTools.com had the idea to abuse the touch-pad of Korg’s nanoPAD as a replacement for the mouse/touchpad/trackpoint or whatever input device you prefer.
That enables you to do everything without touching the computer once during a performance…theoretically.
I doubted that the touchpad would do the job satisfactory, because each axis only sends one 7-bit MIDI-signal which means just 128 different values, which is not precise enough for cursor movement on a big screen.
None of the famous MIDI-translators which run on Windows (at least neither MIDI-Yoke nor the recent version of Bome’s MIDI-Translator)) do the trick.
That’s why I wrote a small tool which reasonably fulfills the task.
