MusicI’ve been at the “Musik Produktiv Messe” in Ibbenbühren near Osnabrück yesterday. It was bigger than I expect with 6 stages and a lot live musicians still I can’t report anything of much interest because I spend most of the time at the Numark/Akai/Alesis booth.

They showed of their latest stuff including the FX-unit of the NS7. It made a well thought and useable impression to me although I don’t like it’s position very much. DJ Eskei83 showcased it using the new 1.4 beta-version of Serato Itch. I couldn’t spot any differences from the current version besides support for the NS FX and Vestax’ VFX1.

Later on a colleague of Vestax came along who was interested in finding out if Itch works with NS7 and Vestax VFX1 together. It did so it’s likely that VCI-300 and NS FX work as well. However it doesn’t make much sense due to their high price and pretty different measurements.
